A graduate narrative short film exploring character and consequence.
A stylized, fairytale-esque narrative framed as a living pop-up book. The story follows a sheltered 14-year-old girl, Jessie, seeking escape from her heavily dysfunctional and arguing parents. Brought to life through comprehensive involvement from the initial scriptwriting phase through to final post-production editing, contrasting a pastel, Wes Anderson aesthetics with the dark realities of a fractured home life.

A dark, tension-filled horror short about an unnerving encounter between a seemingly kind stranger and a quirky, homeless girl he invites in for a 'homemade' shepherd's pie. As the house reveals a gruesome, macabre secret, the film leans heavily into suspense. This project challenged me to balance a raw, gripping directorial vision with the intense technical demands of producing and editing.

A chilling, intimate monologue piece exploring the dark psyche of a man who possesses a morbid fascination with watching tragedy and death on tape. Stepping in front of the lens to deliver this complex, unsettling performance while simultaneously managing the set was a deep-dive into the challenge of self-directing.

A psychological thriller centring on a man driven to the brink as he battles 'Ego'—a physical, sharp-dressed manifestation of his darker inner self. Produced under strict COVID-19 academic restrictions that prohibited any crew from being present, this project forced me to execute every single role on set simultaneously. From writing and directing to cinematography and lead performance, this solo endeavour laid the ultimate foundation for my resourceful, character-driven filmmaking style.
